Kim Kardashian, lookalike and OnlyFans model died at 34.
A person of interest has been arrested in the death of Christina Ashten Gourkani, a professional Kim Kardashian lookalike and OnlyFans model.
Vivian Gomez, 50, was arrested on April 20 at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport in Florida, according to police records. According to court records obtained by E! News, Gomez is scheduled to be deported to California before a May 22 court appearance to face charges of two felony counts of involuntary manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license resulting in great bodily injury.
E! News contacted her attorney but has yet to receive a response.
Gourkani died on April 20 at the age of 34 due to complications following cosmetic surgery, according to the model’s website.
Gourkani had engaged Gomez to assist her with a buttock enlargement, according to San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe. After arriving in Burlingame, California, Gomez allegedly gave the Kardashian lookalike silicone injections. She then developed health problems and died as a result of a cardiac collapse, according to the site.
According to Wagstaffe, the local coroner’s office is probing Gourkani’s death.
Gourkani had engaged Gomez to assist her with a buttock enlargement.
Meanwhile, according to California court records, Gomez’s bail is $100,000.
Gourkani was open about her preference for cosmetic surgeries. “Some of us fill our bodies with drugs, others with alcohol, still others with unhealthy foods, still others with stress, still others with toxic abusive relationships,” she tweeted last December. “I fill my body with some plastic and a lot of love.”
Gourkani likewise refused to be discouraged by her criticism. “I have the best of both worlds… the best haters and supporters,” she tweeted simultaneously. “In the end, what matters is that I’m happy, and my numbers keep rising.” Thank you very much!”
She began her profession as a fitness model before transitioning into “a worldwide famous Celebrity Look-a-like Entertainer,” according to her website.
She built her brand using her business knowledge, including her real estate and property insurance history. Gourkani’s next ambition was to break into acting, which she planned to begin working on in the autumn.
Following her passing, fans and other influencers paid tribute to the model, who frequently cosplayed as superheroes and villains at San Diego Comic-Con.
“She was one of the most gracious, sincere, genuinely loving souls I’ve ever come across,” OnlyFans model Allegra Cole said. “Sending love, peace, and healing light to you and yours.”
“RIP My Angel,” wrote influencer Kristin Gomez. It’s still hard for me to believe. I’m at a loss for words. @ashtens_empire, we shall always miss you.”
