Sunday’s final at the All England Club is a replay from last year when Alcaraz defeated Djokovic in five sets.
Kate, the Princess of Wales, was seen sitting in the Royal Box at Centre Court, a rare public visit following her cancer diagnosis.
The 37-year-old Djokovic aims to win his seventh Wimbledon trophy, tying Roger Federer for the most by a man in the grass-court major. Djokovic’s triumph would also give him 25 Grand Slam singles trophies, surpassing any other player in tennis history.
Djokovic had surgery for a torn meniscus in his right knee just over a month ago after being hurt at the French Open.

Alcaraz, 21, won his third major title at Roland Garros in June. That made him the youngest man to win a Grand Slam on grass, clay, and hard courts.
