White House Video Slams Selena Gomez for Crying Over Deportations
(VOR NEWS)—In breaking news today, supporters of Selena Gomez took to Instagram to slam President Trump and his administration for mocking the actress over an Instagram post she posted and deleted the same day.
The Trump administration took a swipe at Selena Gomez in a new White House video for posting an Instagram video in which she filmed herself crying over Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s deportations of undocumented immigrants.
Gomez deleted the original post within hours after receiving backlash from conservative figures. “Apparently it’s not okay to show empathy for people,” she wrote in a follow-up post.
However, videos of Gomez crying continue to circulate online. The official White House post titled “Moms of Victims of Illegal Aliens SLAM” Selena Gomez: You Didn’t Cry for Our Daughters” came out on Friday.
It includes excerpts from Gomez’s original video, as well as reactions from three women whose children were allegedly killed by undocumented immigrants.
Meanwhile, Trump’s Border Czar, Tom Homan, asked singer and actress Selena Gomez where her tears are for the hundreds of thousands of Americans who have died as a result of fentanyl crossing the southern border after she filmed herself crying about the Trump administration’s deportation efforts nationwide.
“I met with hundreds of Angel moms and dads who are separated from their children because they buried them because illegal aliens killed them,” Homan explained on Fox News with Hannity.”
“We received a half-million children who were sex trafficked into this country, separated from their families, and placed in the hands of criminal cartels to be smuggled into the country. This administration cannot find more than 300,000.
“Where are the tears for them?” Homan asked.
ICE reported more than 1,100 arrests on Monday as President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown entered its second week.
Homan addressed the widespread arrests of illegal immigrants, telling Fox News host Sean Hannity that agents are working to protect US national security.
“Plus, [the] fentanyl overdose rate is going to decrease. Illegal alien crime is going to decrease. Sex trafficking of women and children is going to decrease. “It’s worth the investment,” he emphasized. “It’s a one-time cost to secure this nation and make America safe again.”
In his first few hours as president, Trump issued several executive orders (EOs), including designating cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and declaring a national emergency at the southern border, among others.
Homan praised Trump’s desire to secure the border after an estimated 2.2 million “gotaways” entered the country during the Biden administration.
“He is going to put the cartels out of business. He declared them a terrorist organization. We have the entire government, and it will dismantle these people and wipe them off the face of the Earth.
“They’re not going to take it lightly,” said the veteran law enforcement officer. “We are getting them out of the trafficking business. We are getting them out of the smuggling business. “We’re getting them out of the drug business.”
