Trisha Paytas has been drawn into the Colleen Ballinger controversy.
Johhny Silvestri, a former Ballinger fan, said this week that the YouTuber sent NSFW photographs and videos of Paytas from her OnlyFans to him to mock the new mum and her body. On July 3, Silvestri uploaded many unverified screenshots of his contacts with Ballinger to Twitter, claiming Ballinger would arrange “viewing parties” to mock Paytas.
Trisha Paytas has now released a video in reaction to the most recent charges leveled against her fellow YouTuber and past allegations of inappropriate behavior with kids leveled against Ballinger earlier this year.
“I do not condone unsolicited nudes—sending unsolicited nudes to anyone, sex worker or not,” Paytas said in a video posted on July 3. “I believe that using someone’s nakedness to hurt, mock, make light of, or be mean is the lowest form of human.”
“These weren’t long ago,” she continued. This is someone in their 30s who has recently given birth and is sending nudes. And I was in [Ballinger’s] house a month before, meeting her newborn and doing a Mukbang with her.”There’s a lot. And it wasn’t just one instance. “She sent different photos and different positions of me several times,” Paytas claimed. “I think that’s so inhumane, so disgusting for anyone.”
“Sending these to fans unsolicited, the context in which she was sending these, I don’t get the purpose,” Trisha Paytas said. “I’m not sure if there was an inside joke that I missed,” he continued, adding, “a lot of those images and videos were behind a paywall that required someone to be 18 and over.”

The 35-year-old did say she contacted Ballinger about the photo allegations but that Ballinger rejected them. “I did ask her about these a couple of weeks ago,” Paytas asserted. “She assured me that she had never sent photos of me, [and] that this one fan, who was underage at the time, would send photos to her.”
Trisha Paytas and Ballinger have been friends for years, and they recently co-hosted a podcast called Oversharing with Colleen Ballinger & Trisha Paytas.
“I wasn’t aware of these most recent things that are coming out,” Paytas also remarked in her video. “Everyone knows I have a very, very firm stance on talking to anyone underage, platonic or not.”
In addition to the Paytas allegations, Ballinger was accused of grooming and engaging in illicit connections with young followers in June of this year and again in 2020. Ballinger responded by posting a 10-minute musical vlog in which she sang and played the ukulele. While she acknowledged making mistakes in the past, Ballinger insisted that she never messages minor admirers to groom them.
Paytas addressed the musical response, saying, “Her video came out, and I was really stunned, to say the least, that she didn’t at least acknowledge what her own fans were saying, how they felt.”
“Her video was not an apology,” she said, “and it took away from the gravity of her actions of talking to minors and bringing minors on stage at her show.” These folks are speaking up for a cause, and they are uncomfortable.”
