Michael Jackson’s Family Pays Tribute 15 Years After His Passing
Michael Jackson’s family continues to celebrate his legacy with poignant tributes 15 years after his untimely death at the age of 50.
Prince Jackson, Michael’s 27-year-old son, voiced his longing on Instagram, writing, “I miss you pops.” “The world felt better with you in it,” he said, with a photo of his father surrounded by young singers.
Michael Jackson’s sister, La Toya Jackson, also used Instagram to memorialize her brother.
She tweeted a slideshow with classic photographs of the musical legend, coupled by his 1993 song “Gone Too Soon.”
Her caption stated, “You impacted the world with your joyful skill in many ways!!! We love you! “We will always miss you!” He said, “Gone too soon! I miss and will always love you.”
Tito Jackson, Michael’s brother and former Jackson 5 bassist, commemorated the anniversary with a wistful black-and-white photo of Michael, along by hashtags such as “#15 years without michael jackson,” “#gone too soon,” “#always in our hearts,” and “#miss you much.”
Upcoming Biopic ‘Michael’ Honors Michael Jackson’s Legacy
Jackie Jackson, another Jackson 5 member, commented on the passage of time, posting, “Hard to believe it’s been 15 years without you,” along with a photo of himself and a young Michael , adding, “We miss you every day.”
Tito’s son, TJ Jackson, posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, saying, “I miss you so dearly Uncle Michael. Thank you for everything you did for me. I will always consider myself the luckiest nephew to have you as an endless source of strength, guidance, and love. “I love you forever.”
Michael Jackson’s legacy will also be memorialized on film, with the upcoming biopic ‘Michael Jackson’, directed by Antoine Fuqua and set to be released in 2025.
Michael will be played by his nephew, Jaafar Jackson, son of Jackson 5 member Jermaine Jackson, bringing a family element to the portrayal of the pop icon.
