The Olympic Games are about to go Hollywood, and Tom Cruise gave everyone a preview of what it will be like.
During Sunday’s closing ceremony, the “Mission: Impossible” star executed a daring stunt jump from the top of the Stade de France.

As the spotlight focused on Tom on the roof, he was lowered to the arena floor via a cable. He then walked through the participants to the platform, shaking hands and taking photographs along the way, including one exuberant embrace from a female competitor.
That was not all.
As part of the Hollywood handoff to Los Angeles, which will host the Games in 2028, Cruise took the Olympic flag, mounted it on a motorbike and sped out of the stadium through a swarm of athletes. (No one seems to be hurt.)
In a touch of cinematic magic, Cruise was next seen in an apparent pre-taped part traveling around Paris until he reached a jet that defied space and time to arrive in Los Angeles.
As the camera zoomed out, Cruise was seen at the Hollywood sign, where the Olympic rings had replaced the double “o”s in the word Hollywood.
Yes, all of that happened.
Cruise is well-known for his fondness of stunt work.

The actor has notoriously sacrificed his body for many films, most notably the multibillion-dollar Mission franchise, in which he portrays spy Ethan Hunt. The eighth installment is expected in 2025.
