According to the Tampa Bay Times, the NFL player’s 2-year-old daughter Arrayah, whom he shares with his wife Jordanna Barrett, drowned in their family swimming pool. The incident occurred on April 30 in the morning.
The Tampa Police Department stated in an April 30 statement that officers rushed to the residence in Tampa, Fla., at about 9:30 a.m. local time in response to a youngster falling into a pool. According to the statement, the child was brought to the hospital. Despite life-saving procedures, the kid has pronounced dead shortly afterward.
The Tampa Police Department told the publication that an investigation is underway while the occurrence is not suspicious.
Following the heartbreaking loss, Barrett’s team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, issued a statement stating that the Barrett family is on their minds and hearts.

The linebacker and his wife married in 2012 and have three children: Shaquil Jr., 11; Braylon, 9; and Aaliyah, 8. Arrayah’s family, who received her on April 19, 2021, recently celebrated her birthday.
“Happy 2nd bday to my cutie girl,” the NFL star captioned a few photographs of her in a tutu on Instagram on April 19. “How sweet. You completed our family. “I adore you, sweetheart.”
