You should only use nitrous oxide for food preparation, according to a statement on Galaxy Gas’s website. The document says: “Products containing nitrous oxide are sold solely as a food processing propellant for whipped cream and culinary food use only.”

It goes on to say that nitrous oxide is only authorised for use in cooking and that consumers should follow all applicable laws when purchasing the gas.

Many in the medical field are worried about the risks associated with this development. Anaesthesiologists utilise nitrous oxide, which needs to be monitored and oxygen administered afterwards, according to family care physician Dr. Puja Vithalani, who spoke with Yahoo News. “It’s extremely risky to use it for anything else,” she said.
