Should Biden Stand in the 2024 Election? Former Obama advisor offers talks
(VOR News) – After the first presidential debate, David Axelrod, a former top advisor to former President Barack Obama, told CNN there would be talks regarding whether or not President Joe Biden should continue campaigning for office in the 2024 election.
Vice President Joe Biden became motionless on stage
During his discussion with former President Donald Trump, Vice President Joe Biden became motionless on stage, stuttering and rambling. His remarks come after Biden’s performance.
Axelrod claimed that while Biden gained points when discussing subjects like abortion and the economy, he did not fulfill his objective of seeming lively and connected to the audience. He did not meet his purpose.
I believe there was a feeling of astonishment about how he presented himself at the outset of this discussion. According to the way his speech sounded on that particular day, he seemed to be a bit bewildered.
As the discussion progressed, he did get more powerful. Axelrod said, “I believe that by that time, the panic had already begun to set in, and I believe that there are going to be discussions about whether or not he should continue.”
Despite this, Axelrod said that Trump did not accomplish his objective.
The temptation to be unpleasant, to fib about a whole lot of things about his record, about Biden’s record, and to seem petty and little at times was something that he did not resist.
He did not resist the spotlight. Therefore, you saw a vulnerable candidate and a president who may be unable to take advantage of this situation,” he said.
