According to a recent media report, Prince Harry’s friends in the UK are not only “disgusted” with how he has acted, and enraged that he has not exhibited the same loyalty they have shown to him.
When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle retired from their royal duties in 2020, the couple relocated to the United States. During interviews, podcasts, a visit with Oprah Winfrey, their Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, and the prince’s memoir Spare, the couple took digs at the royal family.
According to Rebecca English, royal editor of the Daily Mail, Prince Harry’s friends are “disgusted” by his behaviour since stepping down and “very hurt” by his bombshell memoir.
“I hear a lot of people are genuinely disgusted by what he’s done since leaving the royal family.” Some of his revelations have caused them great pain. “William and Harry grew up in a very close-knit circle of friends around each other,” she explained.
Those pals knew “loyalty” and demonstrated it to Prince Harry on numerous occasions, she added, adding, “There was almost a kind of omertà between them.” ‘We’ve been very faithful to him throughout the years, and we don’t feel that commitment has been reciprocated,’ several have said.
According to the expert, some of the Duke’s military colleagues are furious with him for publicizing his “kill count” in Spare.
This follows Prince Harry’s absence from a friend’s wedding in early July. Jack Mann was the duke’s “unofficial best man” because he and the prince were so close.
“We don’t know if Jack Mann’s become estranged from Harry or not,” royal editor Richard Eden said, adding, “But in Harry’s memoirs, at the end he talks about how he was ‘chastised’ — in his words — after the [Oprah] interview by some of his closest friends after the [Oprah] interview.” He’s done a lot of harm to their old friendships.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Separate?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appear to be at odds due to public outrage, failing deals, and waging war against their family.
Palace insiders told RadarOnline that the couple is “taking time apart” to mend their relationship.
“They’re trying to figure out what hit them,” according to one insider. “Harry doesn’t fit in with Meghan’s tacky Tinseltown world.” They stated that Prince Harry needs to “find himself.”
According to reports, the Duke is contemplating a solo trip to Africa to produce a documentary. The expected solo trip may be exactly what Harry needs, as the continent is his “second home” and a location where he feels “most like himself,” according to a source who spoke to RadarOnline.
Meanwhile, royal analyst Daniela Elser said that Meghan Markle wants to “create her own brand and make millions.”
“For the first time, they are on truly divergent professional paths.”
According to the informant, “the Sussexes are under tremendous financial pressure to fund their lavish California lifestyle, including their $14 million mansion and huge security costs.”
“That stress, along with their emotional issues, has most likely made life a living hell for them.””We hope that spending time apart on different continents will help them find whatever they need to move on,” they added.
The royal couple’s $20 million arrangement with Spotify expired last month, just as their “Archetypes” podcast was about to enter its second season. One of Spotify’s most senior executives, Bill Simmons, referred to the two as “fuc*king grifters.”
Meghan Markle was also mocked for not having “great audio talent, or necessarily any kind of talent.”
“The hits keep coming for the Sussexes,” a source told RadarOnline.
Previously, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle garnered negative press for claiming to be victims of a paparazzi-fueled, high-speed automobile pursuit. The Duke’s contentious memoirs “Spare” and the couple’s Netflix documentary have degraded their reputation even further.
