Trump Posts "JOE YOU'RE FIRED
US President Donald Trump has said he is revoking Joe Biden's security clearance and access to daily intelligence briefings,

US President Donald Trump announced that he is revoking Joe Biden’s security clearance and access to daily intelligence briefings. He stated that this decision mirrors an action Biden took against him four years ago.

“There’s no reason for Joe Biden to keep receiving classified information,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, his social media platform.

He followed the statement with, “JOE, YOU’RE FIRED,” referencing his former TV catchphrase from The Apprentice.

Trump previously revoked the security clearances of over 50 former intelligence officials, accusing them of interfering in the 2020 election to support Biden.

In his post, Trump said Biden “set the precedent in 2021” when the Intelligence Community was directed to cut off Trump’s access to national security information, a courtesy typically extended to former presidents.

Biden Cannot Be Trusted.

Trump argued that Biden “cannot be trusted with sensitive details,” pointing to a Justice Department investigation into Biden’s handling of classified files.

While no criminal charges were filed, the inquiry determined Biden’s memory was unreliable, referencing instances where he struggled to recall significant events, such as his son Beau’s death or tenure as Barack Obama’s vice president.

Biden rejected these conclusions at the time. The former president, who left office last month, has not yet responded to Trump’s decision.

Attempts to get a comment from Biden’s talent agency, which recently signed him, were unsuccessful.

In 2021, Biden became the first president to deny a former president classified intelligence briefings, citing Trump’s “erratic behaviour” and concerns over potential risks.

Biden defended this by questioning Trump’s potential influence, stating, “What value does he add from receiving briefings? What impact could he have other than possibly slipping up?”

In 2022, classified documents were found at Trump’s Florida residence. He was charged with retaining defence information but pleaded not guilty, and the charges were later dropped after his return to office.

Since resuming his presidency, Trump has moved to revoke security clearances and protections for officials tied to Biden’s administration. Among those affected is former military commander Mark Milley, who had been critical of Trump. The new Defence Secretary, Pete Hegseth, has also started a review of Milley’s conduct and military rank.

Trump additionally removed security details for Anthony Fauci, the former chief medical adviser during the pandemic, stating it was routine and not everyone could retain lifelong protection. He previously ended security for his former Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and National Security Adviser, John Bolton.

Dozens of other former intelligence officials, including two ex-CIA directors, also had their clearances revoked. These individuals had signed a letter in 2020 suggesting reports about Joe Biden’s son Hunter’s laptop were part of a Russian disinformation campaign. The laptop, later found to be authentic, contained evidence of personal misconduct and foreign business dealings.

Trump Firing Kennedy Center board of trustees.

In a separate announcement, Trump revealed plans to overhaul the Kennedy Center’s Board of Trustees and named himself chairman. He pledged to reshape programming at the prestigious arts institution, specifically targeting events involving drag performers.

Trump declared, “I’m making the Kennedy Center GREAT AGAIN. Effective immediately, multiple board members, including the chairman, are terminated because they don’t share our vision for a golden era in the arts.”

The Kennedy Center responded with a statement acknowledging Trump’s post but noted they hadn’t received official communication from the White House. They explained that while a sitting president can replace board members, this would be the first time such a move had been enacted.

Shortly after Trump’s announcement, the Kennedy Center’s website experienced technical issues, with visitors redirected to a waiting page due to high traffic.

Besides, Trump’s current chairman, David Rubenstein, didn’t specify which board members would be removed. The board includes political figures from both major parties, such as Biden allies Karine Jean-Pierre, Mike Donilon, and Stephanie Cutter, as well as Trump supporters like Attorney General Pam Bondi and singer Lee Greenwood.
