Is your relationship about to end? Pizza Hut invites you to say goodbye with a Hot Honey Pie.

Pizza Hut began its “Goodbye Pies” campaign on February 6, allowing people to order free Pizza Hut delivery to the address of an ex-lover. Customers can order a Hot Honey pizza for delivery to their long-gone partner or soon-to-be ex by visiting GoodbyePies.com until Valentine’s Day.

Whether your intentions are sweet or salty, you may add your unique touch to the “Goodbye Pies” order since the programme lets you put a personalised note to your ex on the delivery box.

Valentine’s Day is a romantic festival with gestures such as chocolate, roses, and dinner dates. However, before its newest marketing ploy, Pizza Hut referenced YouGov polling, revealing that 45% of respondents thought it best to quit bad relationships before February 14.

The ad centres on introducing new Pizza Hut menu items, such as Hot Honey Pizza and Hot Honey Wings.

“The rising popularity of the sweet-heat flavour profile has led to Hot Honey becoming the most requested test item by our team members, and we are thrilled to have it as the newest addition to our menu,” Lindsay Morgan, Pizza Hut’s Chief Marketing Officer, said in a statement.

The “Goodbye Pies” campaign is available until February 14 in select New York, Miami, and Chicago locations. Customers who live outside those locations can still visit GoodbyePies.com to request a breakup letter and a complimentary gift card for a Hot Honey pizza to be mailed to an ex while supplies last.

Pizza Hut has a history of marketing initiatives to distinguish its brand from competitors such as Papa John’s and Domino’s. In December, the company introduced the “Reverse Delivery” doormat, which customers could use to give their delivery person a free pizza.
