Pete Davidson is paying the price for this accident. To resolve a careless driving allegation stemming from a collision with a Beverly Hills residence, Pete Davidson has enrolled in a diversion program and will do 50 hours of community service, according to officials on Tuesday.
According to Los Angeles County prosecutors, the 29-year-old actor and comedian best known for his roles on “Saturday Night Live” and “King of Staten Island” would probably perform community service with the New York Fire Department, where his late father was a firefighter.
When Scott, a New York firefighter, died battling the 9/11 attacks, Pete was 7 years old.
Davidson entered a not-guilty plea to the misdemeanor and was sentenced to an 18-month diversionary program that also includes 12 hours of traffic school, a requirement to follow all regulations and unspecified restitution.

The March 4 collision was described as a “serious collision” by the prosecution when Davidson was charged on June 16. There were no injuries recorded.
Pete’s most recent program, “Bupkis,” made its Peacock debut in May, and he also stars in the upcoming movie “Dumb Money.”
The 50 hours of community service Pete must do can be completed in New York. He can complete the 50 hours at the New York City Fire Department, where his father served and perished in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Additionally, Pete needs to finish 12 hours of traffic school. He must also visit a mortuary to receive instruction on what happens to victims of careless drivers.
