Paula Abdul Accuses ‘American Idol’ Producer Nigel Lythgoe Of Sexual Assault In Lawsuit
(LOS ANGELES) – According to a new complaint, Paula Abdul has accused former “American Idol” producer Nigel Lythgoe of sexually assaulting her in the early 2000s while she was a judge on the reality competition show.
The claim, which was filed in Los Angeles on Friday, also accuses Lythgoe of sexually abusing Paula after she left “American Idol” to become a judge on Lythgoe’s other competition show, “So You Think You Can Dance.”
The Associated Press does not usually identify alleged sexual assault victims unless they come forward publicly, as Paula has.
Abdul’s lawyer, Douglas Johnson, praised the singer and dancer for speaking out publicly in a statement released on Saturday.

“It was clearly a difficult decision to make, but Ms. Abdul knows that she stands both in the shoes and on the shoulders of many other similarly situated survivors, and she is determined to see that justice is done,” Johnson said.
In a statement, Lythgoe said he was “shocked and saddened” to learn of Abdul’s charges, describing him as a “dear” and “entirely platonic” friend.
“While Paula’s history of erratic behavior is well known, I can’t pretend to understand exactly why she would file a lawsuit that she must know is untrue,” Lythgoe said in a written statement. “But I can promise that I will fight this appalling smear with everything I have.”
According to the lawsuit, Paula remained silent about the alleged attacks for years due to fear of reprisal from “one of the most well-known producers of television competition shows.”
Paula Abdul Accuses ‘American Idol’ Producer Nigel Lythgoe Of Sexual Assault In Lawsuit
Before “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance,” on which he served as a judge for 16 seasons, Lythgoe was a producer on the British show “Pop Idol,” which spawned a global franchise that included the American version featuring Paula.
The first sexual assault occurred when Abdul and Lythgoe were on the road filming auditions for an earlier season of “American Idol,” which aired in 2002, according to the lawsuit.
After a day of filming, Abdul claims Lythgoe molested her in the elevator of their hotel and “began shoving his tongue down her throat.” When the elevator doors opened, Abdul shoved him away and dashed to her hotel room.
“In tears, Abdul quickly called one of her representatives to inform them of the assault,” according to the lawsuit, “but ultimately decided not to take action for fear that Lythgoe would have her fired from American Idol.”
Abdul, a Grammy and Emmy winner, served as a judge for the first eight seasons before departing in 2009.
In 2015, Abdul joined the panel of judges on “So You Think You Can Dance,” with Lythgoe.
Lythgoe allegedly forced himself on top of Paula during a dinner at his home around that time and attempted to kiss her, according to Abdul’s lawsuit. Paula stated that she pushed Lythgoe away once again and then fled.
After two seasons, Abdul exited the reality show. She has yet to collaborate with Lythgoe since.
According to the lawsuit, Lythgoe also taunted Paula about the alleged assaults, telling her years later that “they should celebrate” because “the statute of limitations had run.”
Paula filed the suit just days before the Dec. 31 deadline set by a California legislation that allows victims to file cases regarding sexual assault accusations after the statute of limitations has expired.
More than 3,700 legal claims were filed in New York under a similar law that expired last month.

Blizzard’s Remastered Versions Of Warcraft 1 And 2 Are Now Available On PCs.
(VOR News) – It has been said by Blizzard that it does not intend to remake Warcraft 1 and 2 since the company believes that these games are “just not that fun any longer.”
When the corporation first made this declaration, it has been almost exactly eight years since it was delivered.
However, the firm has only recently made the news that it will be doing precisely that, and as part of the celebrations for Warcraft’s 30th anniversary, both of the remastered versions are now available to play. The celebrations did not start until today.
The public first played Warcraft in 1994.
This game played a significant role in Blizzard’s rise to the top of the competition. In the year that followed, Warcraft 2 was hastily created in order to suit the requirements of the burgeoning fanbase that the first Warcraft had established.
Additionally, the company has just disclosed that they will be remastering the games, and these remasters will contain a variety of additions to the traditional real-time strategic action that is included in the games.
The initial stage of these enhancements to the development process consists of a new collection of hand-drawn pictures that may be toggled on and off in real time. The artistic style of the originals has been said to be completely captured by these photos, according to the assertions made.
Specifically, Blizzard has implemented “modern controls” for Warcraft 1, which include the option to move with a right click, the ability to pick bounding boxes, and a faster progression rate.
These features are all present in the Warcraft game.
The alterations that have been made include these, however they are not the only ones. It is important to note that these changes have been introduced in addition to the user interface and user experience enhancements that have been implemented throughout both games.
Tool tips, health bars, mission decision screens, and increased unit selection are some of the enhancements that have been introduced in this version of the game. As an additional feature, the multiplayer mode that was included in the first version of Warcraft 2 is still included in the remastered version of the game.
As an additional point of interest, each and every one of the legacy custom maps is entirely compatible with the new edition and may be played in the same capacity.
Despite the fact that there is currently no information regarding whether or not Warcraft 1 Remastered and Warcraft 2 Remastered will eventually be made available on other markets, both of these remastered versions of the game are currently available for purchase on Battle.net for personal computers at prices of $9.99 and $14.99, respectively.
Both of these versions of the game are remastered versions of the original game. A Battle Chest bundle is also available for purchase, and it can be purchased for the price of $39.99. All of the titles that have been remastered are included in this bundle, in addition to Blizzard’s Warcraft 3: Reforged, which has been met with a considerable deal of criticism.
Blizzard has been making continual efforts to improve the game ever since it was first made available to the public in the year 2020.
This is despite the fact that the game was met with poor reviews practically immediately after it was released. An entirely new upgrade, version 2.0, is currently being made available to all gamers without delay.
One of the numerous enhancements to the quality of life that are included in this is “much, much more,” in addition to a wide range of options for personalizing the hockey experience within the game and a new ladder.
In addition to the high-definition versions of all of the older Warcraft assets, these upgrades also include new environments and lighting, a redesigned user interface, and a variety of other enhancements.

Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 Returns Without Kevin Costner
Yellowstone will finally return for the second half of its fifth season. We have a lot to speak about, such as recalling what is going on in this program, Kevin Costner’s departure, and whether or not season 5, part 2, will truly end Yellowstone.
Season 5 Part 1 ended on a cliffhanger—we could be in for a full-fledged Dutton family civil war—and we’ve been waiting for nearly two years.
A quick recap: nothing changes from how this program usually goes, except it’s a little more intense. Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) despised Jamie Dutton. Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) despised Beth Dutton.
That has always been the case since childhood trauma, but now things have escalated. Their father, John Dutton (Kevin Costner), is now Montana’s Governor, and Jamie, who should be his top legal thinker, is played by a group of local businessmen known as Market Equities.
Anyway, Jamie and Beth are attempting to kill each other, and John appears to be leaning toward Beth’s side.
Given Kevin Costner’s public exit from the program, part 2 of season 5 will be especially noteworthy. Long story short, he departed to make his Horizon films and never returned.
So, how will Yellowstone pick up the tale without John? That much is unknown, which adds to the season’s appeal!
Of course, our other characters continue to do what they do. Rip (Cole Hauser) is doing his Rip thing. Kayce (Luke Grimes) oversees the ranch. His wife, Monica (Kelsey Asbille), is still grieving the loss of their unborn son.
But we do have some high stakes to pick up—and they will begin on Sunday, November 10th, whether Kevin Costner appears on screen or not.
Another twist: While we believed season 5 would conclude the Yellowstone story, part 2 is in the works.
There have also been suggestions that Yellowstone could return for a sixth season, starring Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly as Rip and Beth. Hmm, certainly!
Yellowstone’s fifth season, part 2, will air each episode of the truncated half-season on Sunday nights at 8:00 PM EST.
The episodes will then be shown on linear TV, Hulu with Live TV, or the Paramount Network website and app for those with a cable subscription. The premiere will also re-air on CBS at 10:00 p.m. EST.
Yellowstone season 5, part 2, will consist of six episodes, the first of which is currently accessible to watch and stream. That implies the series might end with five more episodes of Western family drama.

“Most Photographed Bear in the World,” Grizzly 399 Dead in Automobile Collision
(VOR News) – Grizzly 399, a renowned grizzly bear who has been cherished by a significant number of professional wildlife photographers for many years, has been discovered to have passed away as a result of a vehicle collision. This information was acquired during the investigation.
The grizzly bear, whose research number is 399, has resided in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming since 2007. Wyoming is the province in which this park is situated.
She has been permanently residing there since 2007. It is without a doubt that she is the grizzly bear that has garnered the most attention and is the subject of the most photographs in the world.
However, park officials have reported that a collision with a vehicle on Tuesday evening on Highway 26/89 in Snake River Canyon, which is situated south of Jackson, Wyoming, resulted in the deaths of 399 individuals. The collision occurred in the vicinity of the Mississippi River Canyon. The accident took place in the vicinity of Snake River Canyon, beyond the canyon.
One of the oldest grizzly bears currently breeding was 399, estimated to be 28 years old.
Grizzly bears are recognized as a genus of bears. At that time, it was believed that 399 individuals had reached this age. In order to ascertain the bear’s genuine identity, both ear tags and a microchip were implemented during the procedure.
The park’s administration has acknowledged that 399 was traveling with a cub that was in the yearling stage at the time of the journey. No information is available regarding the cub’s location, despite the fact that it is presumed that it did not sustain any injury.
The United States Fish and Wildlife Service and authorities from Grand Teton National Park have issued statements that indicate they are closely monitoring the region.
The fact that animal vehicles are involved in collisions and collide with one another is disheartening. Angi Bruce, the Director of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, released a statement in which she conveyed her gratitude to the community for the information that grizzly bear 399 had been relocated.
“We are thankful that the driver is okay, and we understand that the community is saddened to hear that grizzly bear 399 has passed away,” Bruce stated to media representatives.
The term “grand salesman” was frequently used to describe a grizzly bear in the context of Canon lenses. This was a frequently used expression. At present, the number 399 has become a genuine celebrity among wildlife photographers, despite the fact that there are an estimated 730 grizzlies that are believed to inhabit the Greater Yellowstone habitat.
The year 1996 was the year in which Grizzly 399 was born, and Grand Teton National Park was the location of the events. By the mid-2000s, a number of photographers had established lucrative professions as a direct consequence of the publication of 399, according to an article published in The Washington Post.
Chris Servheen, who had previously served as the coordinator for the rehabilitation of grizzly bears for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, disparaged 399 by characterizing him as a “grand salesman for Canon lenses.” The purpose of Servheen’s statement was to be amusing.
Photographers eagerly anticipated the grizzly’s escape during spring.
This was done to ascertain the total number of young that she had given birth to during the winter.
The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem’s distinctive qualities are significantly influenced by the presence of the grizzly bear, a species that is frequently regarded as iconic.
“Grizzly bear 399 has been perhaps the most prominent ambassador for the species,” stated Chip Jenkins, superintendent of Grand Teton National Park. “Grizzly bears are representatives of the species.” “Grizzly bears are the most important ambassadors for the species.”
She will be greatly missed by a large number of individuals worldwide, as she inspired a significant number of individuals to actively engage in conservation initiatives. Consequently, a significant number of individuals will be profoundly affected by her absence.
Tom Mangelsen, a renowned wildlife photographer, was embroiled in a court conflict that had never been witnessed before at the outset of this year. He was endeavoring to acquire a traffic citation for a sum of twenty thousand dollars. Conversely, he was unsuccessful. He is the subject of the claim that has been filed against him because he slowed down his vehicle to inspect a 399 who was injured
