(LOS ANGELES) – Prepare for a tragic girl’s fall. Olivia Rodrigo, the Grammy winner best known for her breakthrough single “drivers license” in 2021, will release her highly anticipated sophomore album in September.
The singer-actor is reuniting with longtime collaborator Dan Nigro for “GUTS,” which will be published on September 8 by Geffen Records. Rodrigo’s first album, “SOUR,” was a multiplatinum debut that earned her three Grammy Awards.
“For me, this album is about growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life,” Rodrigo explained in a press release. “I feel like I grew ten years between the ages of 18 and 20 because it was such a tumultuous time of awkwardness and change.” “I believe it’s all a natural part of growing up, and I hope the album reflects that.”
“Feed the Beast,” popstar Kim Petras’ oft-delayed full-length major label debut album, is filled with Eurodance, ’90s house, and trance-informed sex-positive pop music.
