Hollywood Actor Nick Pasqual Arrested for Stabbing Ex-Girlfriend

Hollywood actor Nick Pasqual has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend many times.

On Wednesday, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced that Pasqual, 34, had been charged with attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or child’s parent. If convicted on all charges, he may face life in jail, according to officials.

The victim was not identified by the district attorney’s office, but according to Entertainment Tonight, Pasqual is suspected of stabbing makeup artist Allie Shehorn, and a GoFundMe page has been set up to cover Shehorn’s medical expenses.

Pasqual allegedly stormed into his ex-girlfriend’s Los Angeles house around 4:30 a.m. on May 23, according to a district attorney’s office news release, and stabbed her “multiple times.” Shehorn, who had recently obtained a restraining order against Pasqual, was in critical condition at the hospital.

According to the GoFundMe page, the makeup artist was in the hospital “fighting for her life.” Shehorn spent several days in the intensive care unit, according to the campaign, and has had three surgeries, including one to replace severed tendons in her right arm and another to seal wounds in her neck.

“No one deserves to endure such a traumatic experience, especially someone as compassionate and caring as Allie,” says the page on GoFundMe.

Pasqual allegedly fled the city following the stabbing. According to the district attorney’s office, he was detained at a US-Mexico border post in Texas after an arrest warrant was issued.

Officials said Pasqual will be extradited to Los Angeles to face charges. The district attorney’s office has not yet set an arraignment date.

The Los Angeles Police Department is still investigating the situation, according to officials.

According to ET, Shehorn has done cosmetics for productions such as Rebel Moon: Part 1, Mean Girls, and Babylon. Pasqual has appeared in Rebel Moon: Part 1, How I Met Your Mother, and Archive 81, according to his IMDB website.

“My thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the victim in this horrific incident,” District Attorney George Gascón stated in a news release.

“Our office, including our Bureau of Victim Services, offers her our assistance and resources as she starts on the long and difficult process of healing from both physical and emotional trauma.

This horrible act serves as a clear reminder of the consequences of domestic violence. We will hold the person who committed this heinous crime accountable for their acts.”
