2024 | Fans Swarm Hill In Munich, Claiming A High Perch For Watching Taylor Swift Concert For Free
MUNICH — Thousands of Taylor Swift fans have received free tickets to her concerts in Munich on a grassy slope near the venue.
On Sunday, the Swifties jammed Olympic Hill, or Olympiaberg, one of the highest hills in the southern German city, for the second day in a row. That provided them a good vantage point for seeing the singer’s sold-out show at the neighboring Olympic Stadium.

They endured the heat on Saturday, which reached 31 degrees Celsius (88 degrees Fahrenheit), to secure their seats hours before the event began.
According to the DPA, police estimated that approximately 25,000 people gathered on the hill on Saturday.
On Sunday, fans came, once again crowding the grassy slope to the point that it resembled an anthill from a distance.
According to DPA, rather than discouraging free viewings, the concert organizer distributed water and emergency blankets to those waiting to shield themselves from the sun.
Taylor’s Eras tour concludes with her final gig in Germany on Sunday. From Thursday to Saturday, she is scheduled to perform three concerts in Warsaw, Poland.
