Man Fined For Not Wearing Helmet Inside A Car in Bizarre Traffic Violation Incident

In an unusual event that has gone viral, a guy was handed a challan for driving his car without a helmet.

The unusual occurrence occurred in the Gautam Buddh Nagar area of Uttar Pradesh, India, where a guy driving a car was fined INR1,000 by local traffic police, according to an Indian media outlet.

The individual, Tushar Saxena, claimed that he never drove his vehicle to the location where he was fined.

While his claim of never visiting the area is dubious, what went viral was the local police fining him for driving without a helmet.

Recalling the unusual occurrence, Saxena claimed that he received a text message warning him of the fee but ignored it, believing it was an error.

However, he grasped the gravity of the matter when he received an email and another message about his challan.

“The challan was issued on November 9, 2023.” It is normal to obtain a fee for violating traffic rules, however this was not the case in my situation. I’ve never drove my car to the NCR area. And if there is a rule that requires us to wear helmets inside a car, the authorities must give it to me in writing,” Tushar Saxena added.

Saxena stated that he lives in Rampur district, around 200 kilometres from Noida, and that if he does not pay the challan cost, he will be summoned to court.
