Margera, 44, was charged with hitting his brother and making threats against other family members during what the brother described as a “frightening and unpredictable” two-week vacation home last year.

The plea concludes a lengthy judicial case from his stay at the Chester County house called Castle Bam. At a hearing last year, Margera informed the judge that he was receiving drug and alcohol therapy.

At the same court hearing, Jess Margera described his brother as “a good dude when he’s not messed up,” but added that he had been exhibiting disturbing behavior for two decades and had remained awake for days at home.

The confrontation resulted in Jess Margera’s eardrum being punctured, while Margera’s girlfriend phoned police when he kicked in her bedroom door, according to his brother.

According to Margera’s defense lawyer, William J. Brennan, she pleaded guilty to two summary offenses and is now clean, sober, and productive a year later.

“You can really say he won his case before today just by turning his life around,” Brennan said Wednesday.
