(VOR News) – Light shaking was reported around the Los Angeles area on Sunday night. The earthquake, which was located in Burbank and measured 3.9 on the Richter scale, caused the shaking.
The earthquake’s effects were felt throughout the region. According to reports, no injuries or major damage occurred as a result of this incident.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake struck about 10:13 p.m. and was most strongly felt in the vicinity of the epicentre, which is located in the 900 block of North Ford Street in Burbank. The epicentre is situated in Burbank.

On the Modified Mercalli Intensity Scale, the tremor was categorised as “light” and caused only minor disturbances. Among other things, the disruptions comprised some minor problems with the windows and dishes.
According to reports, the shaking resembled the force produced by a big vehicle running against a building. This was found to be indeed true.
Affected were the San Gabriel Valley, the Los Angeles Basin, and the San Fernando Valley by the earthquake. One additional impacted location is the San Fernando Valley. One could feel their influence everywhere.
The Burbank municipal officials said they knew about the earthquake, but they also said they did not get any urgent calls for help or proof of damage. They seemed to know about the recent seismic event.

By Sunday evening, the fire had scorched over 500 acres and was 30% contained. On Monday, a decision on whether to lift the restrictions was expected, and evacuations were expected to continue. Additionally, it was expected that evacuations would continue.
The National Weather Service issued a warning, citing dry and windy conditions as contributing to the region’s intense fire weather. This warning was issued in reaction to the severe fire weather that was occurring.
Concerns about fire weather were also raised in eastern New Mexico and far western Texas, where the National Weather Service issued additional warnings of strong winds and dry conditions. Dry conditions were particularly prevalent in certain places. In addition, there were reports of concerns about weather conditions that could lead to flames.
