3. The military might be able to use large language models with OpenAI

According to The Intercept, ChatGPT maker OpenAI has removed a ban on military and warfare technology from its terms of service. According to a Bloomberg report, the U.S. military recently planned several global crises using sophisticated language models.

4. The AI-powered news app Artifact is shutting down

There will be no more operations for the AI-driven news app Artifact. Kevin Systrom and Mike Kreiger, co-founders of Instagram, developed it and launched it a year ago. Users will no longer be able to post new content or add comments, but they can still read news until the end of February.

5. Google makes it easy to share documents.

When you click the Share button on Docs, Drawings, Sheets, and Slides, a new drop-down menu appears that shows pending access requests and options like copying the link. Customers with workspace accounts as well as personal accounts will be able to access it.
