‘Hannah Montana’ Star Mitchel Musso Arrested For Public Intoxication, Theft

Mitchel Musso, best known as Oliver Oken on the iconic Disney Channel show Hannah Montana, was arrested on Saturday in Texas for stealing a bag of chips while intoxicated.

Musso, according to the Rockwall Police Department, made “a disturbance” at a motel in Rockwall, Texas, by stealing a bag of chips from a vendor and eating them without paying.

Around 7:15 p.m. local time, police were summoned. According to authorities, when asked to pay for the chips, the 32-year-old actor got verbally aggressive.

Musso was arrested for public intoxication and theft under $100 in the United States, both Class C misdemeanors.

Mitchell was also accused of having many outstanding traffic warrants from the Rockwall Police Department, according to authorities. According to Fox News, Musso had warrants for expired vehicle registration, failing to display a driver’s license, and violating a “promise to appear” order.

Mitchell was taken to the Rockwall County Detention Centre, where he was booked and stayed for one night. On Sunday, he was freed on a $1,000 bond.

The Rockwall Police Department has since released Musso’s mugshot from his arrest. A bewildered Musso can be seen in the snap, wrapped in what looks to be a white towel.

The actor has made no public comments on his arrest.

Mitchell co-starred in Hannah Montana with Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus for the full four-season run from 2006 to 2011. He also appeared in Disney’s Pair of Kings as King Brady, providing voice work for the popular cartoon Phineas and Ferb as Jeremy Johnson.
