Millie Bobby Brown Marries Jake Bongiovi After 2 Year of Dating

People magazine has reported that actress Millie Bobby Brown and her fiance, Jake Bongiovi, have married after two years together. The Stranger Things star, 20, and the model, 22, Jon Bon Jovi’s son, secretly married last weekend, according to PEOPLE.

Bongiovi’s parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi, were in attendance, as were Brown’s parents. “It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows.” According to the publication, the couple plans a larger ceremony later this year.

The couple, who started relationship speculations in June 2021 after Bongiovi published a selfie with the actress, first met on Instagram. The actress revealed to Wired in 2022 that they “were friends for a bit” before they started dating.

Later that month, Brown and Bongiovi stepped out in New York City holding hands. They also attended other red carpet events as a pair, including the 2022 BAFTA Film Awards and the season 4 premiere of Brown’s Netflix series, and continued to post photos of their relationship on Instagram.

In 2023, the Enola Holmes actress began the new year by referring to Bongiovi as her “partner for life,” and Bongiovi proposed four months later.

Since then, the two have shared other lovely messages about each other, including Millie’s New Year’s homage, in which she referred to Jake as her “partner for life” on Instagram, saying, “Endlessly in love with the year I’ve had! I’m grateful for my friends, family, Donkey (Bernard), my dogs, my puppy’s teeth, and my life partner. Here’s to another year with you and the amazing people and creatures that surround us. “Let us do it again, but better!”

More recently, Jon Bon Jovi endorsed the couple in an interview with The Times, saying, “I’ve gotten to know [Millie] in the last year, she works really hard, and she and Jake will grow together in their own way.”

“It is an accelerated version of what I went through 40 years ago and I think, with the support of family around them, they’re going to be great together,” said the artist.
