Kyle Richards And Mauricio Umansky Address “Untrue” Divorce Rumors

Kyle and Mauricio are correcting the record.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star came to social media on July 3 to confirm that, despite split rumors, she and her husband of 27 years, Mauricio Umansky, are not divorcing.

“In regards to the news that came out about us today…” read a joint statement posted on Kyle’s Instagram. “Any claims that we are divorcing are false.”

“However, yes, we have had a rough year, the most challenging one of our marriage,” the message said. But we both adore and esteem one other enormously. There has been no impropriety on the side of anyone.”

“Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately,” the couple said at the end of their note. While it is fun to speculate, please do not invent bogus stories to fit a more lurid narrative. Thank you for all of your love and support.”

The couple’s joint statement comes just hours after a source told People, “Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof.” They are still friendly as they figure out what is next for them and their family.”

Kyle and Mauricio, the founder of the real estate company The Agency, met for the first time in 1994. Kyle was pregnant with their first child, Alexia, who is now 27, when the pair married in 1996. They also have two children, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15.

The reality personality was a single mother to Farrah, now 34, from her former marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie at their meeting.

“When I met Mauricio in 1994, everything fell into place,” Kyle wrote in a BravoTV.com piece published in 2010. “I was madly in love with him, and he loved both Farrah and me.”

Kyle and Mauricio opened up to The Knot about their 25th wedding anniversary in 2021 and what it meant to them.

“It’s one of my proudest achievements.” “I mean, I think it’s refreshing, because in this town, being married for 25 years is a big deal,” the reality star explained. “And we’re really proud to be good role models for our daughters.”

“I intend to spend the rest of my life with her,” Mauricio continued. So ideally, it will be at least another 25 years, if not 50.”
