Kid Rock blaster television legend Oprah Winfrey on Saturday, calling her a “fake” after Winfrey endorsed Democrat John Fetterman’s Pennsylvania Senate campaign over his Republican opponent, Dr. Mehmet Oz, whom Winfrey has known and worked with for decades.
“Oprah aided Dr. Oz’s career,” Kid Rock tweeted on Saturday, which was shared over 10,000 times. “I presume she vetted him and found him to be a good person, and now she is against him. Oprah is a liar.”
Oprah helped Dr. Oz with his career. I assume because she vetted him and found him to be a wonderful person. Now she is against him. Oprah is a fraud. -Kid Rock.

Despite her lengthy friendship with Oz, Winfrey, a Democrat, declared on Thursday that she is supporting Fetterman’s Senate candidacy.
Oz rose to fame as a health expert on “The Oprah Winfrey Program” before landing his own talk show in 2009, produced by Winfrey’s business Harpo. His show was cancelled in January.
“I’ll tell you what, if I lived in Pennsylvania, I would have already voted for John Fetterman for various reasons,” Winfrey stated during a virtual meeting with community leaders.
According to Fetterman’s campaign, Winfrey’s endorsement of the Democrat over Oz “speaks volumes.”
According to the pitch, “Oprah is largely regarded as the person who helped establish Dr. Oz’s career and knew him well.”
Kid Rock, born Robert Ritchie, has previously been an outspoken opponent of Winfrey, including an on-stage outburst at his downtown Nashville honky-tonk where he told the crowd, “fuck Oprah Winfrey” and “fuck Joy Behar.”
“A drunk man’s words are a sober man’s thoughts, and I own what I said,” Kid Rock remarked on an episode of Tucker Carlson Originals on Fox Nation in June.
“Doctor Oz likes Oprah and accepts the reality that they have different politics,” said Rachel Tripp, senior communications adviser for the Oz campaign, in an emailed statement to Fox News Digital. “He feels that Washington needs more balance and less extremism.”
According to a recent survey, Oz and Fetterman are embroiled in a close Senate fight in Pennsylvania, with Oz leading by one percentage point.
The fiercely contested Senate race may determine which party controls the Senate following Tuesday’s midterm elections.
Representatives for Winfrey did not immediately reply to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
