(VOR News) – Joe Biden, the Vice President of the United States, indicated in a new interview just a few days before he leaves office that he is uncertain as to whether or not he will be allowed to continue serving for another four years, despite the fact that he insisted that he might have been elected to a second term.

In addition, the departing Democratic president stated in an interview with USA Today that was published on Wednesday that he attempted to dissuade President-elect Donald Trump from criticising his political adversaries during their interaction in the Oval Office. Trump has indicated that he will carry it out.

In addition, Joe Biden stated that he has not yet made a decision regarding whether or not to grant a pardon to all individuals in order to protect those individuals from any potential retaliation that may be carried out by Trump or the administration that would succeed him.

The response that Vice President Joe Biden gave to Susan Page, the Washington Bureau Chief of USA Today, when she asked him if he would have been able to withstand another four years in office was, “I don’t know.”

Page and Joe Biden attended the president’s rare White House press interview.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, who is now 82 years old, has stated that he did not intend to run for president in the year 2020.

However, he did mention that he believed he had the best chance of winning the race when Donald Trump ran for reelection the previous year. On the other hand, being 85 or 86 years old and running for president was not something I was interested in doing.

Nevertheless, I am not certain. But what on earth is the matter? He went on to say. “Up to this point, everything has been going swimmingly. On the other hand, who can say with absolute certainty what I will be like when I am 86 years old?

Do you think he thought he had a chance to win the election once more? When asked about it, Vice President Joe Biden responded by saying, “It’s presumptuous to say that, but I think yes.” So was his comment. He made the statement that his evaluation was “based on polling” that he examined, but he did not provide any further explanation.

Ever since he announced his intention to compete for reelection, Biden has been the subject of enquiries over his age and his physical condition. However, in July of the previous year, while he was competing against Trump in a debate, he gave in to the pressure and decided to withdraw from the campaign for the presidency.

Kamala Harris was the candidate whom he supported for the role of vice president. She was finally beaten by the Republican candidate.

During the course of the conversation, Vice President Joe Biden disclosed to reporters that he was contemplating the possibility of granting preemptive pardons, but that he had not yet made a decision regarding the matter.

The Vice President, Joe Biden, made the following statement:

“I tried to make it clear that there was no need, and it was counterintuitive for his interests to go back and try to settle scores.” After the election, Vice President Joe Biden and President Trump met in the Oval Office, and it was during this meeting that Biden made this remark.

Vice President Biden asserted that President Trump did not respond in any way, shape, or form. As an additional point of interest, he stated, “He just listened effectively.”

In his statement, Vice President Joe Biden expressed his “greatest fear” that President Trump will nullify a significant number of the climate laws that he had signed into law in the year 2022.

In addition, he criticised Trump for his assertion that the truck driver who carried out the attack that resulted in the death of a number of people in New Orleans on New Year’s Day was an immigrant who had arrived in the United States from Mexico.

Shamsud-Din Jabbar, an American citizen who was born in Texas and a former military member of the United States Army, has been recognised by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. At the very least, fourteen persons lost their lives as a direct consequence of the tragedy, while approximately thirty-two more were injured.

Authorities took action, which ultimately led to Jabbar’s passing away. “I will bet that many people read what Trump said about the attacker and believe what they read,” Biden commented to reporters.

It was then that he yelled out, “How do you deal with that?” This was a reference to his successor, who was rumoured to be “not known for telling the truth.”
