The actor and singer climbed the historic Manhattan building on Thursday to announce his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, is embarking on a world tour.

The “2024 Seasons” tour will cover Latin America, Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand and will be the band’s first headline tour in almost five years.

Jared, the band’s frontman, completed the Empire State Building’s first-ever ascent.

“The building is a testament to all the things that can be done in the world if we put our minds to it, which was largely the inspiration behind our most recent album, It’s The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day,” Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman Leto said in a statement.

Leto is an avid climber, but this was a significant accomplishment.

“I did it. I’m still alive. “I made it to the top, and I was just saying, I saw my mother in the window of the 80th floor, which was a nice surprise,” Jared told “Today.” “My mum came to visit.”

The tour begins on March 15 in Buenos Aires at Lollapalooza. Following their South American tour, the band will head to Europe and North America before returning to New Zealand in September.
