Nearby Share is now Quick Share
With the help of Samsung, a leading Android smartphone manufacturer, and Google, the former has renamed Nearby Share as Quick Share, greatly simplifying the process of transferring files between Android smartphones and Windows PCs.
Coming soon to laptops from LG, Quick Share will be pre-installed thanks to a partnership between Google and LG. The redesigned Quick Share will be available on Nearby Share-enabled devices beginning next month.
Fast Pair comes to Smart TVs
Using your Google TV OS-powered smart TV, you can now quickly pair your TWS or any wireless earphone with Fast Pair capability. Upon turning on a compatible headphone, a large popup appears on the smart TV screen, allowing users to quickly connect with just one click.
Enhanced screen casting capabilities
In some areas, Android smartphone users may now screencast live TikTok videos to their smart TVs with a simple click. This is compatible with any Google TV with a built-in Chromecast from companies such as LG, HiSense, and TCL. Google has recently said that there are over 220 million active Google TV and Android TV OS devices.
