Wichita Falls, Texas – Elon Musk’s social media platform X has sued a group of advertisers at Twitter, claiming that a “massive advertiser boycott” cost the company billions of dollars in revenue and breached antitrust rules.

On Tuesday, the former company filed the complaint in a Texas federal court against the World Federation of Advertisers and its member businesses, Unilever, Mars, CVS Health, and Orsted.
It accused the advertising group’s project, the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, of facilitating a suspension in advertising when Musk purchased Twitter for $44 billion in late 2022 and altered its workforce and procedures.
