Daniel Radcliffe Welcomes 1st Baby With Girlfriend Erin Darke

His rep confirms that the Harry Potter actor and his partner Erin Darke are now parents after welcoming their first child. The couple’s bundle of joy arrives one month after it was disclosed they were expecting.

On April 24, the family of three was sighted for the first time while out for a stroll in New York City. Radcliffe, 33, can be seen wheeling a stroller beside his longtime partner Darke, 38, in images obtained by the Daily Mail.

Radcliffe and Darke began dating in 2012 after falling in love while producing their film Kill Your Darlings.

While the couple prefers to stay out of the spotlight, they have been seen on a few red-carpet date nights in the last year. In fact, during a 2022 interview with Today’s Hoda Kotb and Maria Shriver, Radcliffe made a rare revelation regarding his relationship with Darke. “Me and Erin have been together for almost ten years,” he told the couple. “She’s awesome.”

Radcliffe and Darke began dating in 2012 after falling in love while producing their film Kill Your Darlings.

When asked about their early days together, Radcliffe told Parade in 2014 that he and Darke “just got on immediately.”

“It was one of those instant things where you’re like,’ Oh, I like this person,'” he explained. “You just connect with someone, and it becomes incredibly easy to talk to them.” It was one of those circumstances.”

“There’s just been an ease in the conversation, a relaxed quality to it,” he continued. “A lot of the time, I’m not very relaxed.” Our discourse, though, has a comfortable tone. There is no work involved. It’s completely natural. It’s a fantastic thing.”
