Brittany Snow remembers a difficult time in her life. After announcing her breakup from ex-husband Tyler Stanaland in September, the Pitch Perfect star recently opened out about her difficult year.
“In the past year, I went through probably the hardest mental health challenge I’ve ever faced,” Brittany told Bustle in an interview published on May 23, without mentioning her ex. “My life was turned completely upside down in one day, in hours.” I was taken aback, and everything I thought I understood, held holy, and honestly trusted in my life was turned upside down.”
“A couple days later my grandmother passed away,” she added, “and I think everything I knew about mental health was tested.”
She mentioned that it was her loved ones that kept her going.
“Thank God for my friends,” stated the 37-year-old. “I’m not sure I would have made it without them.” They reminded me of who I was and what I stood for. I used every tool I had. “Every single one of them.”

“When you’re promoting a movie, it’s always like, ‘Oh, we’re all best friends, and we all love each other,'” she told the publication, “because that helps sell the movie.” But in this case, we were and did become close friends, if not family.”
One Bella, who shall remain anonymous, helped Brittany get back on her feet and recuperate.
“The last year has been really difficult for me,” she added, “and one of the girls, I just opened up her door and I just fell down to the ground and just cried and laid there.” “And she basically nursed me back to health for like four days.”

The John Tucker Must Die performer and the Selling the OC realtor married in a small ceremony in Malibu, California, in 2020, before announcing their divorce on Instagram in September 2022.
“After much thought and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate,” Brittany wrote on September 14, with Tyler confirming her views in a similar post. “We made this decision out of love and mutual respect for one another.” We’ve realized that we must take time to ensure we all live our most happy and honest lives.”
“We began this journey as best friends, and our relationship will remain a priority not only for us but also for our dog Charlie,” the statement said. We genuinely appreciate your support and respectfully request privacy as we embark on this new journey.”
