7 Killed, Dozens Injured When a Bus Overturned in Mississippi

Authorities in Warren County, Mississippi, reported that a commercial bus flipped early on Saturday morning, killing seven persons and injuring several more.

The bus veered off the road and wrecked on Interstate 20 close to Bovina at around 12:40 in the morning. According to Master Sergeant Kervin K. Stewart of the Mississipi Highway Patrol, six persons were declared dead at the site, and one more person passed away later at a hospital.

A further 37 individuals were sent to nearby hospitals. According to Stewart, how badly hurt they were wasn’t immediately clear. According to Stewart, the vehicle was a 2018 Volvo commercial passenger bus. The collision did not involve any other automobiles.

In order to determine what caused the collision, the Mississippi Highway Patrol and the Commercial Transportation Enforcement Division were conducting an investigation.
